Afghanistan court to sentence Christian convert to death
22 March 2006 at 18.07More proof that Islam is not a sane ‘religion’: The newly ‘liberated’ and ‘democratic’ government of Afghanistan is actively trying to sentence an Afghan man to death for having converted to Christianity. (To make matters worse, his own family brought the charges against him.)
So much for Afghanistan respecting human rights. And so much for all the muslims who claim that Islam is a “religion of peace.”

so, the more time goes by, the more I realize how right I’ve been in my assessment of muslims…and how right the Church’s crusades were in recognizing the incompatability of this murderous “religion” with everything the non-muslim world holds dear.
Democracy my foot…they will use our democracy to infiltrate and weaken our systems from within…but they will NEVER accept democracy. They are a cult bent on destroying the West…and we are letting them. Thanks, Mr. Bush. You should have studied your history. Your ignorance and stupidity has put us in harm’s way. You should have attended classes and learned something when you were at Yale….and thanks to all the idiots that voted for you. I wish they were the only ones stuck with your “nation building” in the middle east.

Just heard on the news today that the man was released from prison pending further trial, under the condition that he not leave Afghanistan.
He somehow made his way to Rome, where he’s been granted political and religious asylum.
